There is an OilMaster granular absorbent for every application. Our eco-friendly, non-carcinogenic absorbent products, developed at Cornell University, have been designed to work well in a variety of environments. Based on your needs, one or several of the OilMaster absorbents below will effectively meet your oil, gasoline, diesel, lubricant, etc. spill control needs.
OilMaster7X - is a lightweight absorbent packaged in a 1.2 c.f. bag (about 9 lbs.) and is seven times (7X) more absorbent than traditional clay sorbents. Oilmaster7X ranks at the top of the list for excellence in absorbency. It is an excellent sorbent for indoor use and is a completely GREEN product, low cost and highly efficient. While its light weight nature allows for easy handling, caution should be used in areas of windy conditions or where torching is present.
OilMaster Speedy Blend (SB) - has twice the absorbency of clay and weighs 25% less. It is very useful in windy conditions and is flame resistant. This sorbent is also a GREEN, eco-friendly and renewable product and is packaged in 30 lb. bags.
OilMaster Econo-Zorb (E-Z) is a blend of 7X and SB with a natural whitening agent added to assist in masking the oil stain when applied. Econo-Zorb is twice as absorbent as clay and has many of the features of clay so that from a user’s perspective, transition from clay to Econo-Zorb is relatively seamless. This product is packaged in 40 lb. bags and can be foot ground in to mask the stain much as in the same manner as clay products.
All of our granular absorbents are made from renewable resource materials, and are organic, eco-friendly and biodegradable. None of them have the undesirable carcinogenic dust that most clay sorbents have. In addition, our OilMaster products will qualify as GREEN under LEEDS purchasing.
